Powder and granule dosing line
In recipes made from several raw materials, weighing each ingredient in the right proportion is what keeps the blend the same in every batch. The KP-DZH powder and granule dosing line combines automatic feeding of raw materials, weighing according to the recipe, mixing and transfer to the filling machine in one system. It eliminates errors from manual weighing and reduces raw material waste.
How does it work?
- Feeding: Each raw material is drawn from its own hopper by screw feeders.
- Weighing: Load cells measure the weight of each ingredient; the PLC stops feeding when the quantity defined in the recipe is reached.
- Mixing: The weighed raw materials are homogenised in a mixer integrated into the line.
- Filling: The blend is transferred directly to the filling machine.
The number of stations is planned as single or multiple depending on your range of raw materials and the space in your facility. The line works together with our powder mixers, screw conveyors and powder filling machines.
Which products is it suitable for?
In food: powder blends, spice blends and premixes; in chemicals and pharmaceuticals: active powders, excipients and additives; in cosmetics: face powders; in agriculture: micronised fertilisers and mineral blends. Product-contact surfaces are AISI 304 stainless steel.
