Stainless Steel Storage Tanks

Stainless steel storage tanks from 50 to 100,000 litres and mobile process tanks with braked castors for the food, chemical, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.

Types of stainless steel storage tanks

We build KP-DT series storage tanks from 50 to 100,000 litres. The shape and equipment of the tank are determined by the product to be stored and by your facility:

  • Shape: Cylindrical, prismatic or with a conical bottom; vertical or horizontal according to the layout.
  • Operating type: Atmospheric or pressurised.
  • Temperature: Single-walled, insulated or jacketed; with coils for heating and cooling.
  • Installation: Together with piping and platform systems adapted to site conditions.

Standard models

25,000 litre storage tank (KP-DT-25000): For storing large volumes of products such as milk, fruit juice, syrup, liquid detergent and disinfectant. Built from AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel; the polished interior is easy to clean and does not hold residue. It is compatible with CIP systems and connects to the process through various bottom outlet options.

Mobile process tank (KP-MPT 200): This 200 litre tank with braked castors is used to prepare liquid and semi-liquid products and move them between machines. Its AISI 304 body, smooth welds and sealed lid ensure hygienic operation, and it can be fitted with an agitator on request. It gives flexibility in small and medium-scale production where no fixed line is needed.

Equipment options

  • Level indicator and digital temperature display
  • Sampling valve and manhole cover
  • CIP spray balls that clean the inside without opening the lid
  • Electric heater or steam coil for heating, chiller connection for cooling

AISI 304 or AISI 316?

AISI 304 stainless steel is sufficient for storing water, milk and general food products. For corrosive chemicals, high-salt products and pharmaceutical production, AISI 316 with its higher corrosion resistance is preferred. We choose the tank material together with you based on the composition of the stored product.

Manufacturing and quality control

We build our tanks using TIG, MIG and resistance welding and polish the interior surfaces to prevent bacteria from adhering. Every tank passes a leak and pressure test before delivery. Tanks that fit through the site entrance are shipped fully assembled from our factory; for very large volumes we carry out the assembly on site.

Storage tanks are used for raw materials, intermediates and finished products in food and beverage, chemical and cleaning, cosmetics and pharmaceutical production. To prepare the product before storage, see our heated mixing tanks and homogenizers, or request a quote for your tank.
